We have created a new Rookie Experience to act as a learning environment for new drivers to build familiarity with simulated racing at The Track at Asheville, as well as meet some of the awesome people in our community. We are hosting two types of sessions, Workshop and Race.

Workshop Sessions are collaborative, not competitive. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable in our simulators and with our community. To help with that, we’ve gathered members of our community to act as “Mentors”. The Mentors will guide you through different driving exercises designed to help you learn more about driving a simulator without the pressure of a competition. The Mentors will also talk about our racing culture in the Workshop Sessions. We want drivers to have fun at all of our races, and the best way to do that is by building a healthy racing culture.

Race Sessions will still be focused on learning and building familiarity through practice, but in a race format. Race nights will consist of a warm-up and 3x 10 minute races. The goal of these races isn’t all about winning, but instead to give you a taste of what to expect when they register for a race hosted by The track at Asheville. After the races, Mentors will review replays with the group and give feedback.
Race Sessions require participation in at least one Workshop Session in the same month
